Gilles biomass boilers are registered on the Energy Technology List (ETL). This list details the energy-saving technologies and products that qualify for the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme. Use of the ETL symbol on a product shows that it has been independently assessed and meets the energy-saving criteria for the client to qualify for the ECA scheme.
The Carbon Trust administers the ECA scheme on behalf of the UK Government. The Carbon Trust also offers free and impartial information and advice on energy efficiency, as well as services and products such as energy surveys and interest-free loans for green investments.

NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly sixty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.
They provide certification to firms across the heating, plumbing, renewable and insulation sectors, following a rigorous assessment process which covers a representative sample of their work, premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of their key supervisory staff. Firms are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance.
